Fertility Reflexology with Dorothy Kelly

The course looks at unexplained infertility on day1, whilst day 2 looks at supporting clients undergoing IVF, ICSI, IUI, with reflexology which follows the Treatment Plan for these clients. Initially we will consider what infertility is by discussing many of the conditions which impact on this, the medical terminology involved and how we as therapists can support our clients.

We will look at consultation planning, temperature charting and how we assess the reproductives. We will discuss the menstrual cycle and how we calculate the fertile window as well as the use of Fertility Apps and their role. We will further discuss the investigations involved for both partners. We will use chakra assessment of the body and how we apply this knowledge to the reflexes. We will consider the importance of nutrition within fertility. Throughout this session the Reflexologist will be developing their knowledge to support their clients through this journey. We will also look at other gynae issues, emotional and physical issues which affect fertility and ways that the Reflexologist can support the client.

I will introduce the therapist to naturopathic principles used to support the client whether unexplained or ART (Assisted Reproductive Techniques) including any current thinking in the field whether allopathic or natural. The course is and recognised by NRRI.
