Indian Head Massage is a traditional technique for treating back, neck, shoulders, arms, face and scalp. It is known as champissage and has been practiced in India as part of the ayurvedic healing system, the texts of which date back almost 4000yrs. Ayurveda is considered to promote positive health, beauty and long life. It is based on the principles of reaching harmony and health of mind body and spirit through holistic healing treatments of which India Head Massage is one. During this 1 day course students will learn the techniques of massage which form the relaxing and effective therapy that may ease aches & pains, stress & anxiety, insomnia, headaches and sinuses, improve hair condition and growth, relax the whole being and rebalance energy flow. This massage can be carried out with oil or fully clothed if preferred by the client.

A course manual is provided for theory and much of the training is hands-on to ensure the techniques are learned and applied with competance and ease. This course is suitable for complimentary therapy practitioners and participants will receive a certificate of attendance. It is accredited by NRRI for 25 cpd points

Cost of the course is €150. (A non refundable deposit of €50 is required to secure a place and balance of course fee must be made prior to date of course)
