From Judy:

"Following on IRI AGM and my comments on Reflexology for those with Special Educational Needs to include Autism and many other factors, the opportunities that now present going forward, to develop and grow our businesses in this area, I now intend to deliver focused Workshops for Reflexologists.

Building on a wealth of personal learnings, carefully documented case by case from working exclusively in this area over the last 3 - 4 years, I will now be sharing these tailored approaches with reflexologists interested in pursuing a career in this area.

Together with Barbara Henderson, an experienced peripatetic teacher working with children and young adults with Special Educational Needs, we will be discussing every aspect of treatment of a child, from early identification, initial evaluation, family/carer input, to treatment plans, building rapport and establishing trust, relaxation techniques and overcoming obstacles, challenging behaviour and personal (Self) persistence.

The last few years has delivered tremendous improvements, not just for the children themselves at home and in school, but also for the daily lives of their carers and families.

It has also delivered amazing personal satisfaction and self-fulfilment, observing the transformation experienced by those challenged kids resulting in them being in a better place."
