Short Description:

This 2 day intensive training in Cancer Reflexology is designed to equip qualified Reflexologist to facilitate those living with Cancer at every stage of their illness from diagnosis to terminal care.

Course Description:

This course will cover the anatomy and physiology as it relates to Cancer Reflexology.

It will cover all aspects of the theory of Cancer from defining cancer to how cancer develops in the body, to common signs and symptoms, diagnostic and methods of treatment.

This course will teach you how to assist your client manage all aspects of their lives in a more controlled and gentle way.

From a practical point of view, Marguerite will teach you how to work the feet of a client living with Cancer using African Reflexology.

This type of reflexology is unique especially its delivery which is gentle, slow, soothing and replenishing.

The techniques which have been created by Marguerite who specialises in cancer care as a Nurse are designed to reduce anxiety/fear and to increase feelings of ease and relaxation.

Marguerite will teach you specific reflexes to manage many of the common side effects of chemo, radiotherapy, hormonal or biological therapy.

Marguerite will bring into this program the spiritual aspects of working with a client from diagnoses to end stage care.

This course is not to be missed if you are already working with living with Cancer or planning to specialise in Cancer Reflexology in your Reflexology.
