Complementary therapies can help people at every stage of their cancer journey. But knowing what treatment to offer your clients and how to adapt your therapy can be nerve wrecking for the therapist especially with all the mis-information there is about massage moving cancer, essential oils interfering with drugs and reflexology adding to nausea.

This series of workshops is designed to give the therapist the most up to date and current research regarding the benefits of complementary therapies in the cancer setting, the protocols for working with cancer patients and the confidence to realise the work you are trained to do does not need to stop (only adapted) when your client, friend, family member presents with cancer.

There are 4 different stand alone workshops. They are:

• Adapting Massage for all stages of cancer - 2 day course (50 NRRI CPD credits)
• Adapting Reflexology for all stages of cancer - 1 day course (100 NRRI CPD credits)
• Aromatherapy to assist all stages of cancer - 1 day course (25 NRRI CPD credits)
• Mindfulness - teaching the therapist techniques to aid relaxation and sleep - 1 day course (25 NRRI CPD credits)
