2009-05-30 - Holistic Insurance Update 2009

Dear Clients and Members of NRRI.
The Irish Government has increased the insurance levy from 2% to 3% from the 1st June 2009.
We had already issued out renewals for June before we were advised of the tax increase, and we will absorb the increase for the members renewing in June.

The rate for new business from 1st June and for renewals from 1st July will be €115.00 (increased from €114) for qualified therapists and €75.00 (no change) for students.

We have enhanced the policy cover to include ‘Loss of Reputation'. This means that if you have innocently suffered a loss of reputation following a claim, which has been successfully defended and where all allegations have been dismissed, the Insurers will appoint a Public Relations company to uphold your good name, and help to mitigate any further losses to your business. The maximum payable under this section is €25,000.

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to call me.
