NRRI Office announcement - COVID-19 - REPLY FROM MINISTER OF HEALTH

Dear Members,

Without any prejudice to what other associations are saying here is our view on current situation with COVID-19 lockdown and getting back to work.

The government is doing the best they can to stop spreading of the virus. They have protocols and ‘Road Map' in place to follow in order to stop the disease.

Asking them to speed-up this regulation would be just reckless if you care for your own health and the others.

Welcome to our website
NRRI was established in 1998 as a registered non-profit making professional body to regulate the practice of reflexology in Ireland as a complementary therapy, through qualified registered members and affiliated schools.

NRRI Accredited & Approved Schools

NRRI is dedicated to establishing the highest levels of training in reflexology through NRRI accredited schools, to ensure the best possible treatment and safety of the general public, and to maintaining those standards through the NRRI programme of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

While working to these high standards the NRRI strives to make it possible for anyone with the inherent qualities and motivation to be able to train to become a practitioner, regardless of academic background and social standing.

Difference between Accredited and Approved School

Accredited Schools (listed at the top) are teaching in adherence to NRRI Syllabus (150hours of tutorials, approx.12-14 months and 60 hours of case studies) and their graduates are automatically eligible for NRRI Membership with many benfits. Principals of those schools are known members of NRRI and are in our opinion the best training providers in Ireland.

Approved Schools are teaching an ITEC or CIBTAC or other diplomas (9 months of tutoring and only 40 hours of case studies). Graduates of such schools are eligible for membership but in some cases graduates might be a subject to a stricter CPD Programme for the first two years of membership.
