"The Successfull Practitioner"
My name is Maureen Fynes I am the owner of MF Wellness School of Reflexology and Holistic therapies. I am on a mission is to get people proactive about their health and wellbeing. Many people constantly feel fatigued, lack energy, experience a mid- afternoon energy slumps, wake up feeling exhausted, have, irregular sleep patterns, regular colds and flus etc etc. The truth is it doesn't have to be that way.
I think of myself primarily as a reflexologist but also as a health coach. As a health coach I have facilitated so many people to implement a self- care plan that works with where they are in their life right now. I believe self-care is the corner stone to good health and to living a happy fulfilled life.
At the upcoming symposium I would like to share a broad outline of that plan and also share with you some really simple strategies to ensure that self-care becomes your number one priority and also show you how to implement simple daily rituals that will help you thrive and live your best life.
Our health is truly our wealth and with current statistics predicting that 1 in 6 of us will have a serious illness by the time we are in our sixties it has never being more important to look at our lifestyle and make sure that our lifestyle habits are serving us and not having a detrimental effect on our health and well-being.

LEE ANTHONY TAYLOR (United Kingdom)
"Don't Shoot the Messenger"
Born in England, Lee Anthony Taylor was coaxed into trying reflexology while meditating on the banks of the river Ganges in India many years ago. What started off as a simple head massage turned into a foot treatment with the most amazing results and benefits. He immediately left a high-flying job in London and began to train as a reflexologist within weeks of his return. He's never looked back.
Since then, he has become an internationally-renowned speaker, presenter, author and teacher within the reflexology world but still retains his roots as a practitioner.
His work takes him all over the world where his unique teaching style has been universally acclaimed for its simplicity and its highly effective delivery. He has been a Conference Speaker at the ICR: Rome 2001; Cairns 2007 and Anchorage 2019 and has presented at other conferences in person or online since 1998.
His fresh approach on challenging subjects such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, pregnancy, diabetes and allergies has been welcomed by students, who have been given guidance on how to apply their skills and knowledge.
His first book ‘Effective ReflexologyTM' has been essential reading for all therapists interested in the feet.
He has pioneered Coronal Zone Reflex TherapyTM - a powerful but subtle form of reflexology which has been praised by both practitioners and patients for its immediate health benefits.
He has also published two more books to add to his growing list of publications - Effective Reflexology- the Way Forward and Don't Shoot the Messenger is due for imminent publication.
JUDY BUCKLEY (Ireland)
"Reflexology for Special Needs"
Over 14 years ago, Judy Buckley decided to take up a new career as a Reflexologist, subsequently qualifying and setting out on a path previously unforeseen by others in her new chosen sector.
Now 14 years on from that faithful start, Judy is delivering Reflexology Diploma and Postgraduate Courses to others who, like her, wish to become skilled in delivering solutions to people with issues they have struggled with for far too long.
While she has competitors in the sector, none have followed the amazing journey that Judy has travelled in those 14 years.
She has been at the forefront of a number of developments within her profession:
• 1st to deliver Reflexology to a 2nd Level School as part of a Transition Year Programme promoting positive mental health and wellbeing
• 1st Reflexologist to develop a bespoke approach to treating kids with ASD, ADHD, SEBD, Down Syndrome and many more
• 1st reflexologist Invited to deliver Reflexology to mainstream Schools in Co. Fermanagh and Co. Tyrone.
• Invited to deliver Reflexology for students suffering from anxiety, sleep issues, concentration issues and many more in mainstream primary and secondary schools in Co. Fermanagh
• Delivering Reflexology to kids to counter their Societal Integration difficulties such as SEBD
• 1st Reflexologist to be awarded an All-Star Business Star Award at Croke Park for her work with children with Social, Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD).
Judy, a past 3-Term Chairperson of the The Irish Reflexologists Institute, has been a practicing Reflexologist for the last 14 years, and is currently sitting on the council of the National Register of Reflexologists Ireland. Her tailor-made techniques have been designed to address symptoms such as stress, anxiety and insomnia associated with ADHD, down syndrome, autism spectrum disorders and anxiety disorders and she has opened up a path to new treatment areas for Reflexologists to follow.

EDUARDO LUIS (Portugal)
"Paediatric Reflexology"
Eduardo Luís studied Reflexology in Madeira in 2001. He continued his studies in Porto at the Institute of Integrated Reflexology in 2004 and completed his studies in 2007. I study Chinese Medicine, has 15 years' experience in the Reflexology field and in 2007 he founded the Centre for Reflexology in Madeira, of which he is a director.
Eduardo is a trainer and organizes workshops and conferences for the dissemination of Reflexology in Madeira and Portugal. He has given basic Reflexology training in the Regional Health Service in Madeira to nurses, doctors and the general public. He writes for magazines on reflexology issues and has participated in programs on TV and Radio. He organized the first Congress of Reflexology in 2009 in Portugal, Madeira where he discussed two themes: "Maternity in Reflexology" and "Chinese Medicine associated with Reflexology". Eduardo is a Monitor of the Reflexology Course - Child method by Angeles Hinojosa, integrated with the "Spanish Association of Reflexology Child".
Eduardo completed a course in Maternity Reflexology with Mauricio Mosche Kruchik and he has trained in traditional Chinese medicine, Auriculotherapy, Su-Jok, Moxibustion, TLE (Emotional Freedom Technique), Rebirthing, Aromatherapy, Hopi Candles, Flower Bach, Metamorphic Reflexology, Reflexology Emotional, Energetic Matrix, Reiki, Chair-massage and facial reflexology.
Eduardo is an advocate of the Reflexology clinic in Portugal and it is his intention to establish a credible body in order to see Reflexology accepted by the National Health Service.
In this moment, I have 50 students in Madeira and Portugal, were I teach reflexology and work in my clinic in Lisbon.
I organize workshops and many conferences to promote reflexology, in schools and in public places, every week.
Today a big hug to reflexology and I'm very happy because I write every week to a local newspaper and I go to the local television channel every two weeks.
Because of all my work in promotion, and the results I obtained in reflexology, the government allows that we can work in hospital and have created conditions and regulation for complementary medicine.
